Have you had a particular health goal on and off for years, but it seems elusive; or maybe you ATTAIN it but never SUSTAIN it. What is at the root of this quandary? Why do we set goals we really want to achieve and then NOT attain AND sustain them?
As a health coach for more than a decade, I see this dynamic in many people’s lives. Most of the time, people KNOW exactly what they want. Most also know HOW to get there. They simply do not put the right behavior or action behind the desire. And what they BELIEVE has a lot to do with that!
Let’s talk about beliefs and how they can impact behavior, and specifically how they influence our health behaviors and outcomes.

Glance below at these health principles and consider if they align with your current beliefs+:
· The foods you choose to eat matter.
· The digestive system plays a major role in your overall health.
· Metabolism influences your energy, weight, body composition, quality of sleep, and cognition.
· Quality sleep gives your body the opportunity to repair and renew.
· Occasional cleansing may enhance your metabolism, support your efforts to achieve a healthy weight, improve your digestive function, and increase your energy.
· Replacing synthetic products with safe, nontoxic, and natural cleaners will reduce your toxic load and improve your health outcomes.
Here are a few more health principles that have earned the right, through tried-and-true experiences, to be added to MY heartfelt beliefs:
· Daily habits create and influence your health outcomes.

Refine Your Beliefs (& Behaviors)
It is simple…as easy as 1-2-3.
1. Be healthy with daily habits! When lifestyle is the focus, health is naturally achieved and maintained.
2. Be Refreshed with Self-Care! Self-care is part of your success. Make yourself, and your health goals, a priority.
3. Be Prepared for Anything! When challenges arise, turn to natural solutions as your first line of defense.
Here are some simple suggestions to get you started:
· Frankincense helps to support healthy cellular function, sets a calm, soothing environment, and promotes a healthy nervous system. Apply a drop to the back of your neck or bottom of your feet daily! *
· Naturally cleanse the body with Lemon essential oil. Add 1-2 drops to each glass of water. *
· When life happens, Lavender is considered the Swiss army knife of oils, great to relieve many different experiences from irritated skin, to calming in a stressful moment, to promoting restful sleep. Use this hero oil aromatically, topically, and internally! *

· Massage 1-2 drops of Wintergreen essential oil onto your shoulders and neck for a warming sensation when feeling tension or discomfort. *
